Event Vienna: DISCOVER ROMANIA | EXPERIENCE | EXPLORE – Creating new collaborations & partnerships | business potential and sustainable prospects was the theme under which the Romanian Embassy and
Vacations in Romania invited numerous guests and speakers to the event on April 10, 2025.
The event at the Romanian Embassy was extremely well attended and we were delighted to see so many visitors both at the workshops and the evening reception.
The topics covered were of great interest to the audience and the speakers from our network (Vacations in Romania, German-speaking hospitality industry in Romania), Romanian destinations and Austria were perfectly informed and inspiring for the participants.
Mrs. Andrea Andras, the Embassy’s Charge d’Affaires, together with her team, planned the event down to the last detail, and time literally flew by.
A lively exchange between visitors and speakers took place during breaks and the evening reception, where guests were treated to specialties from the European Gastronomic Region 2027 – Hargita County and Romanian delicacies such as cabbage rolls, bean pods and okra pod stew (Mancare de Bame).
Top wines were served from Lacerta, a winery in Dealu Mare run by Walter Friedl from Vienna.
We would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of the event, especially Mrs. Andrea Andras and her colleagues from the Romanian Embassy in Vienna, the Visit Harghita region for tasting local products, Eastern European Experience for the excellent catering, Lacerta for the delicious wines and Bernhard Möstl for the Transylvanian organic vampire shots.
All in all, a successful event that was perfectly enriched by the large number of talks, presentations, discussions and, of course, guests.
